3 summers ago i had a fawn that couldnt have been more than a
day old apper on my back porch. i dont know why and its mama never
came back for it.anyone else have that happen and any ideas why

Often times in that situation, momma is simply close by. I know I have an idiot brother in law who supposedly tried to pick a fawn up once. One bleat brought momma out and she had a big can of whoopass with her when she showed up. He dropped the fawn and unfortunately, she left the idiot alone.

What ever happened 2 the fawn than? Did it just disappear or did u take it in? I'm curious 2 hear.

I called game com they said leave it alone and if it becomes a problem they can relocate it after about 1 week
i called them back and it disappered
my kids hated me for it they were starting to think of it as another dog
the flower bed was it home for awhile thou
they didnt understand the game comm would fine me
