SGL 77is about 2 miles from my house and is less than 200 yards from my office, whereI'm sitting right now. There's a twp road called county line road that cuts it right in half. That road hasmultiple parking lots and access points. You can also access the game lands from Treasure lake and numerous other locations that are private but open to public use.
I actually have no idea how you can say that there's no public access. You certainly don't have to access it by walking up a power line.

I thought I read the post wrong but I didn't.SGL 77 has public access points all over the place. If you're talking about the piece og the Dubois side of I80,you can park in my parking lot.SGL 77 is literally 200 yards from my back door. You can also park at the Pilot and walk back in.If you're nice and you ask,Fairmans would most likely let you walk through their fields. That side of SGL77 gets hammered. The hunting is much better onthe other side of the interstate and there's looadsof deer.

I understand that. You can park in my parking lot and be on the game lands in less than 1 minute.call me and I'll show you where to park and how to get up there.Alot of guys also come in from Pilot and the clarion hotel.Fairman's farm borders the opposite side down by interstate. Those guys are all close friends of mine.I'd be more than happy to introduce them to you. They won't let you drive back but they will let you walk in if you have permission.

Yes, that is the side I talk about doug. I use to be able to access it thru the old dump there. I have talked to a few people up there and they park by the tower but go thru fairmans place. This side use to be a game reserve back in the 50s I been told by a man I was talking to up there. Use to be some monster bucks up there. This was before they stripped it for coal. Use to be albinos up there to.It is a walk when your trapping it for sure. I go up thru the stone village area where most others also park and walk up thru.

My office is in stone side village.Stop in and say Hi some time. That side of the game lands is actually pretty small.I keep my horses next door to Fairman's and ride through there quite a bit.It takes me less than an hour to do a loop around the whole gamelands.

Do you know that you can actually go under the interstate to access that part of the game lands. It's a hike from county line road but it can be done.
What are you trappin for?I know one of the Fairman's killed a yote back there this week.

I took couple yotes up there above that field on that tram road. The one you can see the bottom. Down where that tunnel is your talking about. Yea, like you said, that is a trot to get to it though.
Fox also. Not as many as there was. I use to see them and tracks up there alot. On the other side of I80, You want to talk about yotes. Yotes all over on that side.
