Hey Nick...I'm a WVU grad. Problem is that it was more than a couple years ago.
My farm's in Braxton County...but I live in Ohio.
The bucks are absolutely fired up here in Ohio...but last weekend in WV, they were still a week or so away from "prime time".
Welcome aboard.

Go Mountaineers! I am also a WVU Grad and Proud of It!
I live in PA but will be making the trek to to hunt in Gilmer Co during the Firearms season. My buddies have been seeing deer and some good activity.
Be safe this year & Good Luck.

I'll be in for gun season...but I won't hunt the first day due to work issues.
I just don't get as excited about the gun season as I did 15-20 years ago. We just don't have any hunters in our area moving the deer around. Plus all the damn 4-wheelers running around. It's not like it used to be.
I'm not anti-quad...I use one. BUT, these jackasses that hunt while riding are not hunters in the least.

Nice to see some locals...Speaking of atv's...the area i hunt, they farm next to us they hunt exclusively from atv's. They drive them from their farm house directly to their shooting houses...they shoot prolly 25 shots a day out of them things, i think they shoot crows, turkeys, just about anything that goes in the field. Got this 147 inch 10 point in putnam county last year...

one on the right

took this 11 point with a bow back in 2001

and this pieball in 2002 i think

well i cannot make my pics show up....what am i doing wrong
