The PGC does not need any raises in licenses or auctioning of elk lic. What they do need is for half of them to get off their arses and do some work. We do not need all the game protectors that the PGC[:'(] employes because there is NO GAME to protect.
Regarding the auction,
Well, as long as its only 1 tag and the draw system isn't affected and is still in place for the regular guy, I think this is a decent idea.

I could be wrong but i don't think manyrich folkwould pay 80,000 for a tag to hunt atransplanted herd of elk in PA.One reason is they may notbeeligible for for any record books and why spend it in PA wherethe land access is limited and the herd is small in #s. But if they areoffering the same amount of tags as previous year plus some governor tags for auction than I guess I would think its ok. Again, I have been wrong about theses things before so who knows?
