I worked Sunday night and got off Monday morning and stayed out until 5 and then headed for home. Didn't see anything until around 230 and saw 2 does and a little buck still in velvet, couldn't get a shot at any of them. About 330 saw two deer 40 yards in the tree line and they never came out and then I saw a little fawn with spots still on it playing hide and seek with me for over an hour. it would run out eat some chesnuts and then head back in and then come out in a different area and then eat some more and then head back in, it did thise 4 times. I plan on going back out tomorrow on my way to work and then Friday morning on my way home.

Was anyone out at Patuxent Wildlife Refuge North Tract tonight. I saw a white ford pickup and an SUV. Was that anyone?

I wont have time to go to the WMA I hunt at tonight, but I think I'm gonna try and stick one in my in-laws back yard and then head there tomorrow morning.

Haven't been out in the woods yet.. just been shooting the Guardian consistently until I head in for the first sit. In my opinion... I'd rather see the MD season run from Oct to March instead of September. I'll agree the weather has been fairly nice, but I can wait til it cools off some more.

I don't care when it starts. I'm not going to get out until it cools off anyway. I may go out some but not like I will in October and November.

I hear ya there brother! I have been too busy bass fishing during the offseason so I am slowly getting back into hunting mode. I am finally back on the boards on a regular basis and look forward to reading about everyones success this year.

Anyone from good ol MD head over to Loch Raven yet? I wanted to get some reviews of the turnouts before I headed over with my pops to do some walking around.
