More PA bucks survived this year?

Just read in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review that several sport shops, WCO's Etc are reporting hunters seeing more bucks than normal in the late season. Anyone else seeing similar or contradictory reports. Did this concurreent season take some pressure off the bucks or was it the warm weather?
What are you guys in other parts of the state seeing/hearing?
BTW I put 4 shooter racks and 14 does out past my buddy on a drive the last day of late archery. One looked to be in the 150"s and another was probably bordering P&Y!

I don't know. I heard that hardly any deer where shot where I hunt. The farmer said the only people he saw take deer off the farm was my grandfather, my friend, and I.
Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

I read that article too BT. I was sick and didn't get out much during the late season this year. I did have a guy show me video of 2 bucks in his yard, one small, one really nice.

I hunt down here in Huntingdon COunty, and I can say i saw and the gang i hunted with killed more bucks in the late season than the regular season, but i know there are A LT that got away. We jumped a heard of about 40, with about 4 or 5 shooter bucks on the last drive of the last day.

Maybe Dr Alt is right. Just think what the hunting will be like in a few years if you think next year will be great. Give it a couple years and we will all be putting the taxidermist's kid's through college.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've seen a few good bucks since the seasons closed. I don't hunt with a muzzy, and filled all my other tags in archery, so I only went out for rabbits...I kicked out more deer than bunnies! Next year won't be so bad.
