Default RE: Snows gone findin any?

I have been out shed hunting several times, about two hours per time...and have not found any. Up here in NH, we do not have the high deer numbers that others (like PA and NY) have, so it is tough to even find one! The areas that I have been looking in are primarily tall to medium-height softwoods where deer wintered. I am finding lots of old dropping, and jumping deer as I go...but no sheds. Any advise? Maybe the " winter areas" were occupied by mostly does. Should I head for mountain tops/sideslopes...or swampy areas? Seems like you have to step on them to see them too! Oh well.
