That would be in the Northern zone of the state only since the southern zones bow season opens in October. And technically you would be talking about 2 different hunting years here, since in the first 4 days of bow season in the northern zone you would be hunting with a 2007 hunting license.

Picked up my license today. I got a doe permit for 4Z. I knew I'd get it because I didn't get one last year and they said if you didn't get one last year you would get one the following year.

Bought my license last week, applied for 9m twice and got them both. Couple of friends that did the same thing only got 1 of the two.

I got 4T first try, denied on my second choice but my wife got 8W first try which she conveniently transferred to me in the sport shop parking lot. Bow, Muzzleloader, buck and 2 doe tags. I'm pretty much set......

I got 10 tags for crop damage....all filled and hoping tp get more..

Only 4 weeks to go for us Southern NY bowhunters! Don't forget to get your license before the end of September if you want doe tags!

i went and got 2 for the windham area i keep forgetting what the code is but i cant freaking waittt!!

I finally bought mine yesterday.

I do not know a person that got turned down for a second permit in 9A. Probably nottoo manyhunters here.
