Well, it aint over yet, but, in three days, those of us yet to take a buck in PA will have to eat tag soup.

Iwill say that twice in the past few years, I've had good bucks in easy bow range on the very last day but, of course, that happened only when my tag was already used

I've had a few small legal bucks in since Christmas but no shooters yet. Maybe tomorrow's the day.....

How many PA guys out there are still in the game?

I'll be out with the flinter if the weather is dry on Saturday.
All of a sudden there are deer coming out ofthe woodwork around my Dad's place. Tons of does/fawns and two real nice bucks from what I hear. Gonna give it one last shot.
Should I take the extra points or go for the two point conversions? Haha!

I'll be out for an hour or two tomorrow morning before work...and then all day Friday and Saturday at the cabin. Taking my flinter both times. I passed on a couple small does last Friday, I'm hoping I'll get a chance at their mother before the sun sets on Saturday......or their father for that matter.

Well, either way, just like the Steelers, there is no next week no matter what. I'm in it to win it. The little bucks can live another year as far as I'm concerned. My standards won't change.

One last trip Saturday morning. Recurve in hand.

It’s been a tough season for me, maybe a few things I should have done differently, but no regrets on the legal bucks that I did pass on, even the largest one I’ve ever let walk.

When you let a buck walk, you won the game

Ilike to call it catch and release bowhunting

Oh yeah,
Doe backstraps definitely make it easier to eat that tag soup!
