Default MD Antler Dropping???

Any fellow Marylanders notice any antlershedding yet. Have heard alot of people talking about in other states they are starting to drop. Kinda new to hunting and am wondering when this usually starts.

Yeah if you shoot a dandy this late in the season don't drag it by the antlers.

I have heard reports of dropped antlers in MD already. As always, it varies from deer to deer and area to area. At least that's a good excuse for not seeing any bucks

Saw 2 bucks this week and they both still had them.........of course they were smaller (one was a spike) Im sure weight of the antler has some affect on it dropping.

I've seen Maryland deer carry their antlers until early March. I watched a slew of bucks in Gaithersburg drop them in March, I went and tried to find some sheds and couldn't find a single one. []

Still too early I say. Wait until March I always say. I've found perfectly healthy sheds in the summer months that had yet to be touched by the rodents.
