Tons of em in PA and they are widespread. Plenty of public land as well. Gamelands, numerous state forests and the Allegheny national forest are all pretty much loaded with yotes. Pick an area close and wait for some snow. Cruise the logging roads for tracks and hunt areas where you find them. they are tough to fool but if you are VERY careful about noise and scent, they can be called in to most animal distress calls.

Amen to that. I skinned one last year. I didn't get around to it for about 5 days after it was shot. It was warm last year. P-U!!!

Double AMEN to that. I shot one with the bow in Illinois and put it in a plastic bin and left it at the local meat processor to freeze it till I came home to take it to the taxidermist. Even though it frozen right away, it nearly knocked me over when Iopened that bin up later. The smell was your basic wet dog smell multplied by 10X
