I see/hear 2 things every year in gun season that really yank my chain.
1. Quads everywhere. If you are too lazy to walk to and from your stand...then GOLF or BOWL.
2. Those damn 2-way radios. My uncle had a set this year, and I listened in on his. It sounded like millitary manuvers. "I'm gonna go over this hill...OH, I just jumped a 7-pt...Nothing back here...let's try their property..."
Those radios are a joke. They (like quads) have their place...However, neither is good for hunting.

The worst thing I have seen is NOTHING. Hunting all day and not seeing a deer, squirrel or anything! That can be depressing, especially when you have high hopes.

up in woodridge ny, i saw this hunter following a blood trail. he shot a doe and tracked it for 3 hours, while actually walking in circles. i watched this from a jewish campground i stay in with my family. it was hysterical watching this guy walk in circles while the deer laid there right in the middle and he couldnt see it. i was gonna say something but i thought he would get mad looking like a fool and have me arrested for tresspassing

My dad also shot a deer about 8 years ago with is bow, it ran about 80 yards and fell, he could hear it. He waited 1/2 hour and went down his tree and over tot he deer, he found a guy who was dressing it out, he had and arrow in the haunch of the deer, the guy said that the deer was walking around when he shot it in the *ass. Like that shot would have killed it. my dad let the guy take the deerr because he did not want any trouble..it was thew third biggest deer my dad had shot...outside ears 8 pointer

Seeing garbage left in the woods by hunters ( cigarette packs, bottles, cups)
QUADS on state land where it is illegal to ride them.
Also.....I use the two way radios when hunting, Pro-line. I have found this was a nice way to put my son in a tree stand and go to mine, but still be able to speak to him like he was sitting next to me. And if we wanted to get out and walk to me, I could lead him along with the radio. So in some cases, they do have a place for hunting.
