DeerWhisperer,
You going to Browns Church Rd. to hunt? That's where I'll be. Patuxant River State Park. If I see anyone with a smokepole I'll ask them if they're DeerWhisperer. Probably get a wierd look since it probably won't be you. Who knows!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Can't wait to get out there on Saturday.

Rick,
That's where I will be. The Crofton 90's play the Chargers at 10:30, and the 125's play at 4. We're going to watch the first and tailgate between games, then head in for the second game. Your grandson's game is at 9:00, right?

No deer here. I did shoot a deer. It ran a good ways as we tracked it all the way down into a bottom, across the river, and up the other side to where I found it attached to a drag. [&:]
I'm just glad someone got it. It was pretty messed up though. When I shot it, it was a 4 point and when I found it it was a 2 point and had a huge hole in its ear. I got jumpy and hit it a little low, it was dead but it would have had to bleed out. Someone got him early though. Oh well.
I'll be back out there hopefully this week afterwork and next Saturday.
You get anything?

wow, thats about where i was. I have to cross the river and go to the top of the hill to get to browns church road. But i never seen a hunter at all till about 3.30 a guy and his kid walked by. I had the whole hill to myself.
I did manage to get a doe, about 110-120 pounds. saw 4 all day.

When you going back out? DeerWhisperer and everyone else. I might do some looking for a stand sight down in the thick stuff to try to catch some there during the morning push.
