was out in the woods this evening near my house in essex county. it didn't stop raining here until late morning. i got into my stand around 2:30pm. at approx. 4:40pm i had a buck chasing and grunting attwo does around my stand. by the time the deer stopped running around it was to dark for me to be able to see through my peep sight on my bow. hope there still around in the morning. im guessing with the cool weather the next few days the rut will start to show some life.

It is as good as it gets the bucks are chasing hard. find the does and there is a good chance the bucks will be close by.

Not sure if you guys will be able to see this. It is from my trail cam I left in woods for about a month. If not I can email it to you. It is tough to see. This is down on south shore. He is a monster. You need to zoom in on his antlers and Im not sure if you will be able to do this on this upload. And the time on the cam is really PM.
