rick- why such a bad experience? I know nj has it's freak-spots but it also has places to call home.
You are right. I loved where I lived (Sicklerville). Politics, taxes, road rage, growth, gestopo type little town police depts. traffic, attitudes, MVA just to name some of the bad. Hunting took a degree to figure out and the price to do so was ridicules.

i am heading out to a spot in warren this afternoon. its 20 acres between two housing projects. father saw an eight wider than the ears this morning.

Born and raised in Jersey. Lived there 40 years, until I had to move because of my job. Still hunt there. Pretty darn expensive for a non-resident though. $135.50 apiece for firearm and bow license, plus $28 for each permit and buck tags! But I pay it and keep going back. Been hunting the same property for 35 years...there's no place like home.Heading up 10/29 to bowhunt for 2 weeks in zone 11, hunterdon county.

expensive for non-residents to hunt NJ? I don'tthink so if you compare it to the amount of deer your allowed, or how much it cost NJ's Residents to hunt other states, without being given the chance to take as many deer as the residents of that state.
