I have not shot a buck on Long Island and have seen quite a few nice ones. If you have LI NY buck pics please post them. My buddy from Texastold me Long Island bucks are small and i want to prove him wrong.

heres last yrs bucks.

wow nice! I went scouting last night and came within 15 yards of a nice dark horned 8 pointer and then saw a huge 8 about 150 yards away in a field. I notice that a lot of long island bucks have pretty good tine length but the mass is not there. Your buck has more mass then i usually see on the bucks where i hunt. Do you notice a lack of mass on these LI deer?

I think it has alot to do with the location and maturity of the deer. The genetics a definitely different depending on where you are.
