Big Northern Pike in Thousand Islands
These are pics from my dad's cousins fishing charter business in
the thousand islands. The bigger pike bit the 36" one on the hook and wouldn't let go, so the guy got two for one. The bigger pike is 56" long and weighs 53 pounds. Thought you would enjoy that.
Would have been a world record but it wasn’t caught on a hook

sorry to say this but those pictures have been around for a few years... there was a big debate last year if it was photoshopped or not, i think some said it was a muskie attacking a pike or something, but thsoe pics are really old.

I will contact the person that sent me the pics and I am going to be pissed if these are not what I was told they are. Because this is from a family member. A member of the family that is a little removed from the rest of us but family none the less. My dad is the one that forwared the pics to me after getting them from his cousin. They really do have a charter business in the 1000islands - whish I would have know this years ago - I would have been doing a bit more traveling to the islands during the summer.
Where have you seen these pics if they indeed are old pics?

I know for sure i have seen these on archery talk last year, i dont mean to come off as being rude, i just know i have seen these before. and i think it was taken in Canada. if it is legit, that is a moster pike!!.... I used to fish up in the thousand island area, never saw any pike, but some good bass.

The person in the pic is a relative of Glenn Hobels who is supposed to be who owns the fishing charter business - I have Glenn's email address and just sent him an email asking about the validity of the pics. Like I said this is supposedly a family member of mine except that I have never even heard his name mentioned before but he is part of my dads side of the family who I do not know very many relatives at all from. I am close to my mothers side of the family and my step fathers family - very little contact with my fathers side. Well I'll let you know if I get an email back or not. I don't like posting things in my name that turn out to be B.S. it makes me look bad - you know what I mean.
