hi i will be living in Williamsport pafor college. i live in nj. what do i need to get a licenses, and what zone is it? also are ther any state game lands near bye

Sniper, there's about 8 diff State Game Lands in Lycoming Co. Isn't that where you'll be?

Not sure of the Wildlife Management unit but there are several folks on here that are from that area. You will not have to worry about obtaining a hunting license for next hunting season until July 1st. That is when the 2007-2008 hunting licenses go on sale. If you are bowhunting then you will need a bowhunting stamp ($16) in addition to the ($20) regular license. If you want to harvest a doe during archery then you will need to purchase a doe tag (via the mail) starting the first Monday in August (though I seem to remember something about that changing this year). Cost for the doe tag is $6.

...prices are assuming you will be a PA resident. With this being a college deal I am guessing you will still be a non-resident which means slightly more expensive prices.
