It is laughable. Cougardville seems enthralled with the master perpetuator of the "deer crisis," as his ludicrous ramblings pertain to mountain lions.
People, (some), WANT these cats, big foots, flying saucers, laboratory-bred wolf/coyotesand such to exist. They may be in different groups of interest but they all lack the same thing -- logical thinking and absolutley no experience or real knowledge in the field of study.
There is "no" deer crisis, and especially no crisis of any sort, due to mountain lions.
