We never did get the sleet or rain that most places got. Nice fluffy, blowing, drifting, cold-arsed snow and it's still coming down.
Had to use Visine after plowing, my old peepers were so bloodshot from the wind.

You guys can keep it up there. Down here in Ind. Co., we got a new accum. of about 8-10", with between 1/2-3-4" of ice. That on to of the remaining 4" or so from the last blast. It took me 3 hrs. to plow my drive. A job that normally takes @ 45 min. On top of that, my old faithful tractor gave up the ghost just as I got finished. New plowing equip. to be delivered here tomorrow. In 27 yrs. of living up on this ridge, this has been the worst I've had to deal with, I think. Maybe I feel that way because it's just not as much fun as it used to be. Getting older, I guess.
Some of our guys are planning to head to camp this weekend for some snowmobiling. I sold my sled two years ago, but I wish them well. They will unload at Elliot S.P., or Parker Dam and sled on back to camp.
Hope that rodent at Punxy knew what he was talking about this year. I've about had a bellyful of this stuff, and it didn't even start 'til mid- Jan.
Too young to think about being a snowbird in Florida yet, I hope.......
