The NH seacoast area has a lot of deer, but not a ton of huntable land. You'll find more huntable land and bigger deer in Northern NH and most of Maine. I hunt in Southern NH near where I live, and also up in Maine where I grew up.
I'd recommend stopping in at the Kittery trading post(www.kitterytradingpost.com) on Rte 1 in Kittery Maine when you get to the area, I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.

First of all I would like to welcome you to the area Huntingbgbucks. I live in central Maine and the hunting here is really good if you like to see alot of deer (does mostly). I was stationed in NH back in the late 80's before and while they where closing Pease AFB. There are alot of good deer along the coastal area there but most of it is archery only or shotguning in some areas. As MattinNH suggested Kittery trading post is a great place to start. Need anymore help or someone from the area to talk to give a call, would be glad to tryto help out.
