I hunted CT for several years... did not this year... But will again next year. I hunt in the Canaan area. Haven't seen nearly as many deer the last 2 years I hunted there ... I'll give it hell next September.

i small game hutn in the se ct areas. lots of deer hunters around that i've seen during small game, but there are very many areas to hunt. i really want to start going up to the pachaug state forrest are 26k acres, not sure how much of it is huntable, it's hard to tell from the online maps. i'm plannig on getting an inline barrel for my encore this year so i can start hunting deer here. normally i hunt rifle and flintlock in pa so i'm not fighting for area during deer season here.
