It's Saturday!!20 mph winds and a rain that couldwash a man out of his tree but I was out there at 5AM and ready to go. Made it to 9:30 before I fled the scene. What's aguy gonna do? Yah just can't kill them from bed and time is so limited. If the wind stays under the forcasted 50 mph I got a ground blind I'm gonna sit this afternoon. It's in a nice deep hollow so maybe the wind will just shake the old tree tops.>>>>>>Whack!

Wind is howling and the rain is coming down sideways. Planter, if you go this afternoon better bring a hardhat. Monday morning looks more appealing to me. Good luck out there

Hey rack attack I agree with you on the lack of buck sign out there. I have done quite a bit of scouting and friends are also saying there not seeing thebuck sign they usually do.I do have one spot in freetown that is heavily hit with sign found alot ofrubs and some nice scrapes with a few extremly freshed scrapes.I have noticed the sign picking up in the past 3 days.

Hey Planter sorry to here about that buck. Hopefully he'lllive andyou'll catch up with him in the gun season.

I have a feeling things are going to start to heat up this week as far as pre-rut activity goes. Wish we could hunt on Sunday, because tomorrow morning and afternoon should be great after the storm and winds subside. Maybe next season

Us poor MA hunters stuckin the house as the rest of the nation heads out. Just not fair and makes no sense at all. I am seeing scrapes being tended but it's so tough getting out there during the week and the weekends have %&$*ed. Geez I wanna kill sumpin.>>>>>Whack!

Well guys, I did a little scouting today and finally saw some new scrapes and rubs that I had not seen earlier last week so things are changing. The weather looks good for the rest of this coming week so maybe i will get out before and after work a few days or I might just have a cold coming on(ha ha) and hunt a whole day.

Things are definately starting to heat up. Starting to see more deer out during daylight hours. More rubs & scrapes appearing. The end of this week should be pretty good. I'm leaving for Candada Thurs and won't be back to hunt MA until the week of 11/13.
The 1st 2 weeks of Nov. should be slamming!
