I will be hunting as a non-resident in Jersey and I picked up my bow license last weekend. the license and tags are completely different then the ones in Delaware (my home state). I am use to seeing doe, antlerless and buck tags. my NJ licenses (which were printed out also different from DE) only came with buck tags for fall, winter and permit and some transportation tags and no doe or anterless tags. I am unsure how to use these tags and the guy at walmart was worthless...and the lack of a hunting guie or digest doesn't help. can someone help me out?
thanks,

Basic answer, but here goes.
I bowhunt Jersey in a non-permit zone, during a non-permit season. So for me, I only need what you now have. It took me a while to understand this, even with an Uncle who lives there helping me out. You have to read the regs on the zone you are hunting for exact rules, but for me in Zone 21, it goes like this:
I get to take either sex, 2 deer per season (one of each). If I shoot a doe, I use the transport tag, go get it checked, and then get another transport tag. If I get a buck (3 points on one side for that zone), then I use the buck tag and the transport tag, then get another transport tag for my doe when I get the deer checked.
Remember, you have to get the deer checked at a station in New Jersey.

MAKE SURE you know where you are hunting and the particular regs for that zone. It various widely, and some zones are nothing like I just described to you.
If you check my site, I have a New Jersey section that a long-time Jersey hunter frequents. He has helped me in the past with questions. Give him a shot.
Good luck, Jersey has great hunting and cheap gas! That is why I originally switched. I live in NY, but closer to my hunting in NJ. I hunt in Double Trouble State Park in Ocean County.
Where are you planning on hunting? I might be able to help you more.

hey airborne! i thought i was the only zone 21 guy around here. i hunt in the greenwood state gameland though. just to let you know there are many county parks open that are much closer to you in monmouth county. i hunt those areas during the week and zone 21 on the weekends.

My uncle wants me to hunt the monmouth parks with him this year. I really like Double Trouble Though... very wild and I haven't seen a hunter in 2 years going there. Lucky for me, I hunt mostly during the week when there's very little pressure.

No problem, anything to help our sport.
I also got into the area because of the decreased pressure. I am not looking for trophies right now in my life, just deer and experience in the woods. I'll worry about trophy's in a few eyars when I have more money and freedom to travel more.
