been doing some scouting and some spotting and i'm seeing quite a few hopefulls. Everyone around here has gone easy on them the past couple years and its really showing dividends this year. Quite a few deer around. Pumped and ready for the opener!

Yes. I have had the game cams out for about a month now with nothing significant to post about. I try to drive through my hunting area at least once or twice a week. All my stand sites are all ready to go now it is just time for some more intense practice with the bow.

I will be putting the game cameras back up next week. Been doing some drive by scouting and have seen deer every time. I must admit I'm really looking forward to some quality time spent in the treestand.

Are you all hunting in fields? For me todrive pastwere I hunt I would have to walk back about before I would see some deer. Due to my busy schedule I do not think I will be able to scout until August 19th is that to late to start?
