Default Rifle law for southern tier NOT voted on

The Ny assembly never voted on the proposed rifle bill for Steuben, Chemung and Tioga counties, The assembly will not meet again until January of 07. Looks like NO rifles this year!

Crap! I was really hoping this would be passed. Well I guess there's still a chance for the 2007 season.

As BigJohn H stated, Tioga County passed 9-1-05. Just received my new rifle last month, all set for this coming November!

That sucks. I just bought my wife a nice little Ruger. Typical goobermint pinheads.

If it was not voted on does that mean it goes into law like last year.

No, it has to be voted on in the assembly, the senate haspassed it so once the assembly passes it, it goes to the Gov for his signature.

Oh they should have worded it like last year. I believe it wasn't signed by him so it was made a law.
