If you look at the other post madeline posted it is in the same spot that he got the other buck on film. That seems kind of strange to get two hoggs on film in the same spot.Does something smell fishy

Madeline,
Charles county has some monsters. I remember years ago a monster buck (non typical) was found dead by a farmer on combine and I think it was that area.. MD does indeed have some real honey spots. Many spots are unhunted and ownedby anti hunters others are doing QDM. It seems that all areas east of the mountains are getting bigger and bigger racks. I hunt, lease and am familiar with thousands of acres of private land and even drive thru your home townoften on my way south and east. The 4yr old and better area there, just tough to see wether with a camera or up a tree in the rut. I have personally hunted and put out cameras with areas with known 160" bucks and bigger a difficult time getting bucks over 130, just two so far. I just know those pics are rare! You better treat them like a trophy in themselves. And if you get either of those boys I'll look forward to seeing them potsed here and at the MD trophy contest held yearly.

Madeline,
One of the guys who hunts where I do puts out trail cameras. He has pics of huge bucks that no hunter has ever seen. I'm willing to accept your pics as legit. Good luck getting one of them in your sights.

I don't blame ya, [8D] I was only looking for the general area.
South of LaPlata, there are some nice farms that have been in their respective families for a long long time.
