Elk Hunting In PA`
#2
To hunt elk in PA you need to be drawn for a license first. They only offer around 50 a year or so, and with so many people applying for them, the chances are slim to none...unless you are a lucky few.
As forwhere to findthem, they are located in only a small portion of the state, near St. Marys and Benezette on Rt. 555

Thats an awesome bull BULLSHOOTER , where did you get him at? i know that there are a great number of elk here in PA , but i have never seen one , the only place i would have a chance to would be in McKean Co where my camp is , but i dont even think they are up that far north yet.

colorado......its not really worth it unless you are a resident............just my opinion..........chances of getting a tag are pretty low. Then you have to know where the elk are........plus the season is like 3-4 days or something like that..........you have a much better chance of getting one in colorado then you do here

I wouldn't deter anyone from trying. They changed the draw, residents have just as much chance as NR. They have guides you can opt to use, the elk hunting areas are pretty clear. Once you get drawn the success rate is rather high.
