Who has taken a deer so far from PA? Keep adding to the list as you get `em!
I shot a nice doe on the opener.

BC,

You can chalk me up for one doe so far. It should have been two as of last night but it is hard to shoot one when your bow is laying 20 feet below you on the ground...

I been out twice. First day only saw a small six. Second day cut short when I drop my bow (stupid). Luckily a soft landing. Test shot it everything okay. At least the rain has stopped.

Frank, when you say your bow was lying 20' below you, do you mean you did not pull it up yet, or did you do a field test on Newtons theory of gravity?

2 does for me so far. 1st was last tuesday, and the 2nd this morning. Both were average size adult does.

Some things are true whether you believe them or not.
