Cant do it. Sorry. Lets keep gun and ammo sales to hunting and sporting good stores. The smaller the better.

Any day spent huntin, is better than any day spent workin,,

Duckmaster, do you want to be that elitist? How 'bout the possibility that you could help give Moore a black eye on this?

Duckmastor2-I am very sad to see your viewpoint on this. As the forces that are massed in an attempt to destroy all access to firearms and ammunition continue their fight we as firearms owners should praise and support any business that supports those of us who claim our Second Amendment rights.
The local sporting goods stores have their place and should certainly be supported as well, however few if any have served the firearm community in the manner that Walmart has by offering firearms, ammunition and both hunting and shooting supplies at a very low cost comparitively speaking. By doing so they have enabled many of us to purchase firearms when they would otherwise be too expensive or out of reach if we had only the local shop available to us. I spend my money at both Walmart and the small local shop to support both of them.
They enable many of us to take part in exercising our right to keep and bear arms and are therefore worthy of the support of all of us.
If you turn your back on a present supporter of the Second Amendment and cannot find it within yourself to encourage their continued support when it is being threatened by those who want to see it end you will have only yourself to blame when you find that you eventually have no supporters whatsoever.
As this is not the political forum I will leave it at that.
Happy hunting to all!

I agree with Duckmaster that smaller is better but I am pragmatic enough to acknowledge that Mainehunters' arguement is more realistic. I am #7280.

When people one day ask why the right to keep and bear arms was removed from the Constitution I will now have an answer for them.

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man; brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot. — Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain)

Wow, 233 read but only 17 posts!! No wonder we are losing the war to save the second ammendment. An estimated 80-90 million gun owners in this country and only 4.5 million care enough to join the NRA. My God, how pathetic we hunters are.
Coolerpup, I think you stopped posting because you are too hot headed to engage in intelligent debate. That's my opinion.

what is bothersome is that of all those you mentioned only 7,915 have signed the petition.

it doesn't matter how many post only that those that view it pass it on and sign the petition.

that doesn't seem to be happening.
