nice buck ductman!!! I shot 2 does this morning, my first 2 with reloaded ammunition created at my own bench!! I had 4 bucks come in 2 spikes, a half rack 3 and a small 13" 6 pnt. We have an 8 or better rule where I hunt so I shot the flat heads.

I shot an 8 point with the 25-06. 14" inside spread. Dressed weight of 117#. Not bad for a public land mountain deer from Frederick County.
Good luck to you all with the rest of the season. My son will be trying for his first this year.
Trying to add photo, I hope this works.

No luck on the opener, however, it was our first time out on the property. Saw a big deer right around 630a, but it was too dark to distinguish the head. All I saw was a large brown 4-legged body moving slowly to my left at about 50-60 yards. After that, all I saw was a spike, a button, and then 3 does in the afternoon. Congrats to those who filled a tag on Saturday!

I was in a tree with two stands hung in it -- one for me with my bow and my 14 year old son on his first hunt carrying a gun. He scored on a small buck and I passed on a large doe.
