i actully dropped it right where it stoodit didnt eventake 1step the arrow severed its spine so it was only dead 15-20min. before it was gutted i was very close to my friends house and with all the ticks we had we decided it would be more sanitary togutit in acontrolled area plus we butcher them ourselfs so its less mess doing it once
this short time is ok i helpedtracked deer for my buddy it was found 4 hours after being shot probely dead for over 3 and the meat was fine it only really hurts when you take a gut shot or its vey warm outside

That is fantastic. When I got my first deer with a bow (it was a buck 8 pointer) and I was hooked on bow hunting. Now if I had to do any type of hunting I would choose bow by far. I love it.

Congrats to both of you men! Those are too beautiful deer, and definately trophies. Im still waiting on my first deer with a bow. Going out in like 45 mins wish me luck. Im up in North Shore Massachusetts!
