I'm not a bear hunter, but I respect the right of those who do. I beleive Pa has an anti hunter harrasment law on the books too. Although I don't see this getting to much support I hope those who are out there harrassing someone doing a legal sport goes to jail for a couple years.

I'm going out this year for the first time and all I have to say is that they better not mess with my hunt. I'm not a very happy person when people mess with me.

Report it to what is called here in MA, the Environmental Police. In NY I think they are Rangers. What ever they are called, inform them of this so they will be caught and reduce their efforts. It's nothing like anti-hunters trying to make progress illegally, especially when we are the one's abiding by the law and we are viewed as the bad guy. I don't know if you guys caught the oxymoron in that one.

How do you disrupt a bear hunt? I think they'll be doing nothing but pushing the bush for the hunters. That's the main challenge in bear season anyway - not enough hunters to get the bear moving.

pa does have a law for the hunter... its called the hunters act you can not do any acts to cause a hunter any griff while lawfully hunting... these stupid people crack me up.... so whats going to happen when they come up to some hick in the middle of the woods who just watched deliverence it won't be so funny then... or will it

PS: NY also has laws against hunter harassment + trespassing.
The best I heard yet was the land owner that had a lot of trouble
with hunter harassment was he had the local offerers on stand by & led the harassers about a mile on to his land then used his cell phone to call the officer in.
Not good of 4 people all 4 were charged with 6 felony's & all 4 are now
serving time in the jail house as they got 2 years each for their trouble.
