Your petiitioning the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The PGC cannot make that change. The power to change the law regarding Sunday Hunting lies with the PA Legislature.

It would be better to write you PA State Legislator. Remember, 1/2 of the PA Senators and ALL of the Representatives will be up for election in 2006.

As a point of fact,up until recently the PGC's stated position was that they chose to remain neutral. I'm not sure that has changed.

Three years ago the PA Legislature passed a baiting law. The law allowed hunters to bait deer in the Special Regulation Areas which are generally urban areas. The Pennsylvania Game Commission has refused to apply the necessary regulations. Thus baiting in PA is not permitted. I can only wonder if Sunday Hunting were passed by the Legislature if the PGC would apply regulations so that hunters could hunt on Sunday?

Yea, it flips me out that you can gamble and buy booze on Sundays but you can't hunt. That's friggen nuts. They would make money just like they do from the gambling and booze so what's up?
