ny rut is on and 1 6 pt in the bag
hey guys the rut is in early this year and i got a 6 point last night.
i hunt the edge of a feild nead a bed area and i started grunting with primos rubberneck and useing there can at teh same time and this buck came running in on the woods side and i could not get a shot and then he turned in to the feild and i drew my bow and shot over his back he jumped about 5 feet and stayed put i hit the can again and he look at me and i started to put another arrow in and i drew back and shot him low right of the shoulder just cliping his hart and thats all it takes i found a good blood trail lost it and found him 13 yards from were we lost the blood trail last night this morning . he is my 4th 6 point and my 5th with the bow ....all and all it was a awesome day i missed a doe early in the day also well walking to my truck...

I'm hunting in the Fingerlakes Region. I shot a 7 point on the 20th that I called in from a 100 yards with a can. I also used it tocall in a 6 point yesterday from over100 yards away.Both deer went crazy trying to find the doe they"thought" they heard. I'm a huge believer in the can.

The can call works great. First time user this Saturday and I call one in that was heading the other way. Got him almost to shooting distance and a dominant grunt was too much for him to handle. Shot the 8 pointer clean at 10 yards.
The can is the greatest. I have listened to many many deer and I think it is the most realistic I have ever heard.
