The gun shop owner says - YES.

NO - absolutely not

unless you have each others guns on your permit (easy to do, just fill out the amendment form and put each others guns on your permits - I did the same with all my fathers pistols - good thing to do, in case "something" happens to one of you, the other will be able to take the pistols, legally)

Is the ammendment form something I can fill out at the County office in Wampsville? I was told that we could not have the same gun listed for both us - it was a long time ago though (15yrs ago) - unless we shared an address.

I should have checked more into it.

I don't remember exactly, but I thinkthere is a place for "aquired" and that is what I checked. Iam pretty sure there are no regs saying that two people cannot have the same gun on their permits.

I believe that up to 3 people can have the same pistol on their permit.

I imagine you are until the wife puts her two cents in...just like my scenario. I'm always right, if the wife lets me be.

You may not be able to have guns on each others permits. Here in Oswego county the Judge stoped doing that. Too many young people would pitch in to buy a pistol, and not know who was in posession of it. This is new here with in the last few months. You may be in posession of your fathers pistol if he is present. You may notbe in posession ofit if he is not with you.call the pistol permit issuing agency, They will give you all the info you need.
