Scouting IN DE Today..10pter Pics
well, i had a chance to scout for the first time this season. i packed my son up and we were out for a quick round-a-bout. saw tons of sign...tracks, rubs, and a few scrapes. one on the edge of a corn field and a few in the woods. acorns are on the woods this season and they are hitting the persimmons as usual. it's a matter of hooking up at this point. i have not mastered the deer in DE as i did in the area i lived in Pa. hunting the deer that live in swamps is difficult. the tall grass hides alot of secrets. there are deer there that people never see...really there are and i know that there is a monster in the area that i hunt near dutch neck farms-st augistine area...a few huge bucks.

10-12 pointer that is in my condo all of the time. i live on golf course near valley forge st park...alot of deer are in here. there are oaks everywhere and this was the only place to get water b4 the rains hit...i want to tag that buck so bad

yeah, i have to get out there, but i have all of these places to hunt and not enough time. i have a farm in s NJ..huge place to myself..deer everywhere. if i tag out quick in NJ next week, i will hunt de...the sign in DE is crazy not alot of trees there, but i can hide my bling in the corn and edges of the tall grass. the big bucks r there though
