Im going up sunday to see the elk. i was wondering whats going on w/ them right now? like are they in the rut, is that over or not started yet?? also what can i expect, i never been up to see them. will i see a bunch or will i maybe not see any. anyone thats been up any info would be great.. thanks

Winslow Hill is the bst area. Their Rut should be pretty much over but it's not hard to find them.

People I work with have been up the past 2 weekends in a row, they are seeing tons in all the usual viewing areas.

I would think the rut is basically over for them. Good places to check out are right in town, and up on Winslow Hill are where I saw the most earlier this year.
