Why does WV season not come in until so late??? Any idea?

our luck it will be about 80 degrees though..........I hope not......I have to work the night before and the night of but i will be out that morning anyways!

to accomodate bordering states opening days... they try to schedule all the "main" opening days around Va/Pa/Md/Oh... you'll notice they all start on different dates(especially Buck season)

went over to the farm today .only had about an hour to spend...... shot the rifle and made sure it was sighted in close....

headed for the woods....... found what looked to be a couple early scrapes........ alot of well beaten down trails.....

some acorns..... the WildGameMax foodplot seems to be still doing well....... jumped one deer in a briar patch...... only seen it take off........couldnt tell if it had antlers or not.... it stayed for a bit and blew at me for awhile then walked off

found a turtle shell that had the skeleton inside of it........kinda cool..it rattles when you shake it...lol

found some bear scat in a few places

what little bit i did get to walk around i didnt find any rubs yet though
