I'll be bowhunting / turkey hunting in the vineyards (Taylor Wine Co.) right directly below Bully Hill. It's some pretty good hunting...they take some beautiful bucks in this area every season. I usually don't shotgun hunt here until later on in the season.

I have seen the fewest deer over thge past 4-5 months than I can ever remember. Just don't see them around while driving the countryside. Do I think the deer are "gone" - NO. We have seen a lot of sign at our camp and have gotten a few pics on the game cam. They are there.
You auburn boys might like to know that I saw a huge buck one evenning a couple weeks ago near Skaneatleles (North road). big rack.
Hey NY Bowhunter - if you could get rid of that Irsh guy, we could be best of friends (I hate ND - always have liked PSU - I know it's been a rough...um...well. ....it's been terrible ever since they went to the Big 10 - lokokin ok this year)
happy huntin'

You must know where we are down there then. If you head south from the winery on the west side of the roadmy uncle just built a house kitty corner to the old bully hill farm house. We own the next lot to the south that is covered in pine trees with the new driveway. How on earth did you get permission to hunt on Taylor Land? We have another hunting camp afew miles away that borders Taylor land, they won't even let us walk across an open field to the State land up there. We have been trying to find more property to hunt down there because the lot behind us that we usually hunt is in the process of being sold.We have seen some very nice bucks in that area but wehaven't gotten any yet.
