I have had a very positve bowseason so far. I harvested a 130 pound doe last Sat. and have seen deer everytime I have hunted in the morning. The evenings on the other hand have been horrible. I havent seen squat in the evenings except when I drive out the lane after dark they are already in the beans eating. I will probably stop hunting the evening for a while and just stick to mornings.

Been out every day since the season open. Have seen probably 100+ deer, just no shooters close enough.

Nice Job.
I have been out twice so far and saw a couple of does, but not close enough to shoot.

I took a doe last Wednesday evening after missing a monster buck in the morning. I saw 13 that night and could've had shots at 10 of them.

I missed another nice 8 point this AM due to not seeing some small branches (I forgot my contacts). It was a clean miss.

James, My dad used to own a farm just down from Teagues Point Road, past the animal shelter heading towards Benedict. I agree there are alot of nice deer in that area.
Do you still get down to Aquasco?

Havnt been in there hunting this year,But have been in there looking, have seen a few nice ones, but Aquasco always has deer...lol

Also ,just picked up 1200 plus acres in that same area,As I offer the land management services to the out of state landowners.Spent all day getting tax map plots and posting all the lands.Let me know if you want to try the area out.
