Does anyone know the starting dates for red tag? I thought I remember it being in mid-September. I can't find the info. in the Digest or on the PGC website....

As far i know redtag is open pretty much year round. I remember a few years back going redtag hunting during the summer months so i dont think they have a closing date. I could be wrong though. better check your digest or ask a conservation officer.

My brother has already harvested a doe within a red tag area and that was back about mid to early August. So I am assuming that some areas are already going with the red tag.
