Default 2005 game cam pics in PA and northeast

I am starting a thread for game cam pics for the northeast feel free to post your own. This has been a slow year for me so far with getting big bucks on the cameras. I am seeing more then ever this year in person. But they just dont want to walk in front of my cuddebacks. Here is a nice looking 8 point on my property he is probably our bare minimum of what we would harvest. Hopefully I get some pics of the big boys. My pics are from PA.

Well he isn't huge, but he certainly is strange looking. I am guessing he is a 2 y/o buck. We have 2x other 3 y/o bucks that we have caught a few pics of infrequently, I am guessing one is around 100" and the other maybe around 120" but I don't have those to upload now. Lots of other 1 y/o bucks around too.

RickJames- That is a strange looking buck. If he past me I'd have to take him. That rack would start more conversations. Plus I like the wacky racked bucks!

That is definately a strange buck! Is he in a 3point or 4 point area?

I just noticed a couple tumors on the shoulders of RickJames' deer. I'm wondering if the meat would be edible. If it's in the 3 point area of PA I'd take him then call the PGC of there are tumors throughout it. That way it's out of the herd. The officer will give you a note to shoot another buck.

Thanks guys. He is in WMU 3B, so he is legal to shoot. I honestly don't think I will shoot him, at least not during archery season. I have 2x weekends in October to bow hunt PA, as well as a week from 11/5 to 11/12 (peak rut ) as well and there are too many other big bucks there to settle for him. I have never killed a P&Y buck and really want to badly, and this guy just isn't there yet. If I haven't filled my tag during archery season, I may shoot him during rifle season though since I only have one weekend to hunt PA rifle season this year.

I saw this as well. I think he may have been shot last year which may explain the weird rack as well. I watched him for about half an hour back in turkey season and he had a pretty good limp but did seem to do OK getting around in the pics I had of him during the hard winter months. If he appears to be putting on more weight, and looks like he will make it next fall I will probably let him walk. If he starts looking rough, I may take him out of the herd, or possibly bring in one of the neighbors kids to take him. I have him patterned pretty good, he beds in the same spot every time I have seen him and comes to feed at the same spot and time of the day consistently.

nice pics. Rile1564 loves deer with screwed up racks. Let him come take him out.. It will add to his collection.

why do you say that? It's not as if he has bad genetics that would be passed on. In fact he could have excellent genetics that you would want to pass on but you wouldn't know until he matured a little. The deformity is obviously due to an injury based on the fact that he was limping and has the growths on his shoulder. There is no way this deformity would be passed onto his offspring therefore it doesn't make sense to cull him based on the rack.
