Austin Halleck Mountain rifle
#1
Guys I'm going to sell this rifle. Its really a good looking rifle and the bore is clean and the stock as far as I an see only has one ding on the right side (see pics). but has some really nice graining. Its a .50 cal percussion, browned barrel with some surface pitting. Like I said the bore is clean as far as I can tell from cleaning. I don't have a bore light or a bore scope to check it but after cleaning the patches come out as white as they went in.
I'm going to try and post the pics on here from my phone in a bit. I'm asking $200 which is really a good value considering one in very excellent condition brings about $425. Selling at that price because of the outside of the barrel and I just have way too many black powder guns. And at $200 its worth it even to hang on the mantle its so pretty
