.45 cal Knight Mountaineer
I have a very nice clean pristine condition stainless Knight Mountaineer (in a Disc Extreme stock)*, .45 caliber with Lehigh bare 209 conversion, and extra breech plugs. Topped with a Leupold Ultimate Slam 2-7X scope. Rifle shoots pretty much everything well and a few exceptionally well. I wouldn't hesitate to say that with the right combo its a legitimate 300+ yard hunting rifle.
I'll try and post pics if I can. If not please send me a direct message and I'll send them to you via email. Price is a very reasonable $750 plus shipping TYD. I just have too many other projects going on and too many irons in the fire and I hate to see this being a safe queen.
*The reason its in a Disc Extreme stock is that I originally purchased a Disc Extreme in .50 but I really wanted a .45. I called Knight and they told me that the Mountaineer barreled action would drop right into the Disc Extreme stock so I bought the .45 Mountaineer barreled action and sold the Disc Extreme action.
