.50 Remington Genesis Muzzleloader
#1
I bought a Remington Genesis Muzzle loader a few years ago and have only hunted with it a couple times. One complaint I have with it is the ramrod is too short, so when I'm hunting I have to carry two. One for loading and one for cleaning which is a real hastle. Does anyone know of a way I can buy a custom ramrod for this gun that can also be stored under the barrel? I basically need to find a way to purchase a custom ramrod that can be used for cleaning and loading. Thanks!

You realize that ramrod can be lenthened by screwing off the end, turning that piece around and then screw it back on the threaded stem that remains? I believe that is how I recall them working anyway.
If you get any sort of ramrod that gives you extra length it will need to be some sort of extendible rod else it's going to protrude a good bit past the muzzle.

That's how they work; I'm able to clean and load with mine.
