    I was going to reply the bore is bright and shiny perfect, but i went and closely looked through. At the powder end where the powder sits there is some slight imperfection. There is less of this at the muzzle end, but there is something there visible. I believe these imperfection are called minor rust pitting. Too my knowledge there are no issues with this rifle, except for it smacks me in the face when i shoot it.

    Well, i purchased it new for a great price at Cabela closeout. It is a nice rifle, but it sure slaps me in the face.
