Up for sale is a lyman GPR .54 Percussion, 32" barrel thats been antiqued, as well as all metal trim. Adjustable rear sight, Cheek piece was shrunken to remove the bulkiness and lighten up the rifle. All sharp square edges along the bottom of the stock were removed and rounded off for less snagging in the brush "reduces chipping as well" Trigger are light and creep - grit free. Filed a "hook" into the stock " Hawken look" for your thumb so you can get a rock solid grip on the gun. Wedge key plates WILL be polished " have not done that yet" Bore is Rust- Pitt free. An excellent shooting gun, only selling to help fund a deer hunt this year.

Stock has 5 coats of Laurel Mountain Forge Honey Maple stain, 3 hand rubbed coats of Tru oil and 10 coats total of Spray on truoil. Stock was then dulled down using 0000 steel wool soaked in Original Oil Finish " Track of the wolf brand". One of my favorite finishes ive done on a rifle to date.

Rifle loves 80gr 3F goex with .018 patch and .530 round ball. Other favorite loads are 110gr 3F Jim Shockeys Gold with .530 round ball and .018 patch. 90grains American Pioneer 3f, .018 patch and .530 round ball.

Rifle comes with a brass handled .530" Thompson Center Round Ball Mold. HARD TO FIND! Excellent condition inside. The Sprue plate has a very small amount of pitting on the outer edges of the sprue plate as you will see in the picture.
