Default .54 CVA Mountain Stalker - SOLD

You might need this one. Here's that inexpensive easy carrying sidelock you've been wanting for stalking in the nasty thick stuff or carrying up those steep hills (and in a hefty .54 caliber to boot).

A measly $135 will get it shipped to your door.

Model: CVA Mountain Stalker Caplock
Caliber: .54
Rate of Twist: 1:48"
Overall Length: 42"
Barrel Length: 26"
Length of Pull: 14 & 1/4"
Weight: 5 lbs. 4 oz.
Overall Condition: Excellent
Bore Condition: Clean & Pit Free

Take a look.

i have one, awesome round ball shooter for me. I recently started shooting 295gr powerbelts in it as of yesterday and it shows great promise. Thing is so light you can almost twirl it on a finger like a gun slinger does LOL.

Excellent rifle.

I haven't shot this one mnprohunter. The bore is so nice I see no reason it shouldn't do real well though. It was part of a package deal I purchased a while back. I intended to shoot it before posting it for sale, but the hunting season and nasty weather put an end to my "play around" range sessions for a while. As MountainDevil said, it's a really light easy carrying little piece. If I didn't already have two .54 sidelocks I'd keep it myself.

i may need some convincing on this. i just bought a tc new englander off gunbroker and love it , well how it looks anyway, too cold and snowy to have shot it yet. i wanted a .54 but got it in .50 for the deal. so, this one intruges me only because the two muzzleloaders i have are both .50 and a .54 just is calling me...just not sure yet......i suppose this is the factory nipple not a stainless one i keep hearing about?

Aw, just go ahead and convince yourself mnprohunter.

I'm not going to try to convince you, even though you'll probably never ever find another perfectly clean ready to shoot .54 for such a low price, and will likely kick yourself for years if you pass up this deal. I won't even bring up the fact that everyone knows that real men own at least one .54 and women swoon at their feet. No, I'm not even going to try . But if you convince yourself in the next day or two I'll knock $10 off.

The nipple is not stainless. It shows very little sign of wear. Given the overall condition of the gun, I suspect it's the original factory nipple.
