Better not ship an Encore to a non FFL or you may be making license plates.The frame is DEFINITELY an FFL item.

Yep just bought on out of MISSISSIPPI you have to use an FFL because it can be converted to a pistol or a
CenterFire Rifle . That a federal Convection if found out. No more guns in the House then.

Then how was cabelas able to sell them throught there catalogs. I know that they have an ffl and can ship them, but what about the receivers??

I hate to be the bearer of bad tydings, but yes the ML'er Encore has to be sent to an FFL, Because it can be changed to a rifle. You are right as most other ML'ers, theycan be shipped direct to the buyer. FYI. I would hate to see you get into trouble with these stupid d#### laws we are to adhere to. Lou

I would double check that. The encore frame isa FFL regulated reciever.
